project introduction 1/24/25

 Hey readers, my name is David Alchalel. I enjoy film a lot mostly thrillers and mystery. A good movie can change perspective I like to think. I can always appreciate a good horror or drama. But besides that I really find interest in written work and interviews. For TV same applies as movies i enjoy thriller shows that really get the brain thinking, always leaving on cliff hangers adn lots of foreshadowings. Books I don't read much but I would enjoy a good horror or mystery novel. Something that would wan you to keep reading. Also magazine interest me because I can always enjoy indulging in a media topic that interests me.

Now directing a film sounded appealing due to me enjoying making all of my filming projects and developing a movie script, a magazine had me far more intrigued and I liked making a travel magazine for my project earlier. My magazine will be something that has taken from major travel magazines such as Travel + Leisure and Wanderlust. I am collaborating with my classmate Matthew. We will do separate articles but piggyback off each other. For topics i'm thinking of top destinations for the new year(2025) and best places to travel for the upcoming spring season

Me and my partner settled on this because we both mutually agreed that we both have a passion for traveling and being able to display it and soread information the others would be really nice. Most people are unaware of the many hidden gems around the world that could be there next dream destination spot.

Target Audience: Between ages 25-54, outgoing people, luxury travelers, people with means and desires to explore, adventurous people

Feature Story ideas:Top new places to travel for the new year, places that are the nicest around the upcoming spring seasons, Tropical destinations to start planning summer vacations

Social issues: New places to travel, nicest around this time of year, luxurious places to visit , bucket-list places to visit

Best Places so far:  Palmero, Italy/ Maui, Hawaii/ Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago/ Bilibao, Spain

  I think throughout this entire journey of complete my magazine final from start to finish sports illustrated has  by far been my biggest inspiration. When I personally think of magazine I think of sports illustrated, They covers provide so much variety i was able to use as refrence and exmaples.
