My magazine cover, The Swamp Report , uses several traditional conventions of sports magazine covers, such as bold typography, action-packed imagery, and strong color contrast to grab attention. However, it challenges the usual focus on professional teams by highlighting a college atmosphere—specifically the University of Florida's Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, aka "The Swamp." It celebrates the culture and spirit of college sports, representing student-athletes and passionate fans as major contributors to the sports world. Socially, it uplifts the often-underrepresented impact of collegiate sports in media by questioning whether even professional teams can match the intensity of The Swamp.
